Current Updates in my Minecraft Create World 06.26
World Development Update – Current Construction Projects and Future Plans
As my Minecraft Create Survival world continues to expand, several major construction projects are currently underway across the map. While many transportation systems, industrial facilities, and city districts are already operational, a significant amount of development is still taking place behind the scenes.
This update provides an overview of the largest projects I am currently working on, along with some of the plans for future expansion. From highways and railway infrastructure to industrial buildings and underwater cities, nearly every part of the world is receiving improvements.
The Northern Four-Lane Highway Expansion
One of the largest infrastructure projects currently in the planning and construction phase is the northern highway expansion. The goal is to extend the existing road network with a modern four-lane highway that will provide faster connections between the city and future regions of the map.
At the moment, much of the route has been planned and surveyed. The future alignment of the highway has already been determined, allowing construction work to gradually move forward. Large sections of terrain will need to be modified before the road can be completed, and several bridges, embankments, and intersections are expected to be required.
The northern highway is intended to become one of the main transportation corridors of the world and will support future city expansion, industrial development, and long-distance travel.
As construction progresses, the Automated Road Builder & Mining Drill will likely play an important role in helping shape the terrain and build sections of roadway more efficiently.
The Future Central Railway Station
Another major project currently taking shape is the future central railway station. For a long time, the area reserved for the station remained mostly empty, serving only as a placeholder for future development.
Recently, however, significant progress has been made. The outlines and track layouts of the station have now been marked and planned, providing a clear vision of how the transportation hub wi
ll eventually look.
This station will become one of the most important locations in the entire world. It is expected to serve freight trains, passenger services, and future railway connections that will link different regions together.
The large freight train currently waiting near the site already hints at the importance of the future station. While the railway network is not yet fully operational, the groundwork is finally beginning to take shape.
Southern Highway Bridge and Subway Extension
Work is also continuing on one of the most visually impressive transportation projects in the world: the southern highway bridge and subway corridor.
The project combines two transportation systems within a single piece of infrastructure. A modern highway crosses the landscape while subway tracks run between the highway carriageways on an elevated structure.
This design was chosen to maximize space efficiency while creating a realistic transportation corridor inspired by real-world infrastructure projects.
Although substantial progress has already been made, further work is required before the route can become fully operational. Additional detailing, track work, bridge sections, and station connections still need to be completed.
Once finished, the corridor will become one of the most important transportation links in the southern region of the map.
Construction of the Mega Factory Building
While the Mega Factory is already fully functional internally, its exterior remains one of the largest unfinished projects in the world.
The factory currently contains extensive machine networks, automated production systems, storage facilities, power generation equipment, and logistics infrastructure. Resources are continuously being produced and processed, supplying construction projects throughout the region.
However, much of the building that will eventually house these systems has yet to be constructed. The current focus is on designing an industrial structure that properly reflects the scale and importance of the factory.
Future plans include large industrial halls, realistic facades, loading docks, utility buildings, warehouses, and improved logistics areas for trucks and future rail operations.
Completing the exterior will transform the factory from a collection of machines into a true industrial landmark.
Town Hall Parking Area
Smaller projects are also receiving attention as part of ongoing city improvemen
ts.
One example is the parking area located in front of the MineColonies Town Hall. Although this may seem like a minor detail compared to highways and railway stations, projects like this contribute significantly to the realism of the city.
The parking lot will provide a more realistic environment around one of the most important administrative buildings in the colony. It will also help integrate the growing number of civilian vehicles that travel throughout the road network.
Vehicles such as the blue convertible, the red SUV, delivery vans, and other traffic vehicles will benefit from additional parking infrastructure that helps make the city feel more believable and alive.
The Greenhouse Project
Food production continues to be an important part of supporting the MineColonies settlement, and work is currently underway on the greenhouse structure surrounding the automated wheat and carrot farm.
Although the farming systems themselves are already functional, the building that will house them still requires significant construction work.
The completed greenhouse will provide a realistic agricultural facility that complements the surrounding infrastructure while protecting the automated farming systems inside.
Once completed, the greenhouse will also improve the visual appearance of the area and create a more believable connection between food production and the logistics systems that distribute supplies throughout the city.
The white delivery van that currently collects food from the greenhouse loading dock will continue to play an important role in transporting harvested crops to the MineColonies residents.
Bikini Bottom Underwater Development
One of the most unusual projects currently under development remains Bikini Bottom, the underwater district inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants.
At the moment, construction is still in its early stages. The dedicated bus route already exists and provides transportation between the city and the ocean floor, but the destination itself remains largely unfinished.
Currently, only a partially completed turning platform exists beneath the water, allowing the Bikini Bottom Bus to reverse direction before returning to the city.
Despite the limited progress so far, major plans exist for the future of the underwater settlement. New buildings, roads, decorative elements, and recognizable landmarks may eventually transform the area into one of the most unique locations in the entire survival world.
The project remains one of the most ambitious long-term developments currently planned.
World Beautification and General Improvements
In addition to the major projects listed above, a considerable amount of time is being spent on smaller improvements throughout the world.
Road markings are being updated, landscaping is being refined, unfinished areas are being cleaned up, and various decorative details are being added across the map.
Many transportation routes are receiving additional detailing, while older builds are being revisited and improved to match the quality standards of newer projects.
These smaller changes may not always be as noticeable as a new highway or railway station, but they play an essential role in making the world feel polished and cohesive.
Looking Ahead
The world continues to grow with every new construction project. The expansion of the highway network, the development of the central railway station, the completion of the Mega Factory, and the ongoing work on Bikini Bottom all represent important milestones in the evolution of the map.
While many of these projects are still far from finished, each update brings the world one step closer to becoming a fully interconnected transportation, logistics, and city-building experience.
As always, more updates, screenshots, and construction progress reports will be shared as these projects continue to develop.
